A partir de ahora, la pequeña isla será tristemente célebre por el brutal atentado que ha ocasionado la muerte de más de noventa personas. La globalización, el movimiento de personas de unos países a otros estimula la xenofobia, el odio al distinto, el temor de que nos pueda hacer daño, produce este inmenso horror de muerte y destrucción.
La ley no escrita de la necesidad de preservar la costumbre, donde lo más primitivo del ser humano se siente seguro, es la causante de lo que ha ocurrido y posiblemente de lo que está por llegar. El ser humano no ha sabido o no ha podido evolucionar desde este punto. Lo ancestral, lo atávico está en la base misma de la existencia y desde ahí crea muerte y destrucción.
