El artículo publicado el día 8 de junio en el diario El País firmado por Bernard-Henri Lévy sobre los acontecimientos ocurridos con la llamada flotilla de la libertad es muy ilustrativo. Con un balance de 9 muertos y 36 heridos, el escritor tilda de 'estúpida' la forma violenta con la que el ejército israelí asaltó al barco Mavi Mármara.
El señor Lévy denuncia la falta de objetividad de los medios de comunicación a nivel mundial. Es cierto que el bloqueo no lo impone solamente Israel, sino también Egipto, y que se trata de un bloqueo que afecta solamente a las armas y a los materiales que sirven para fabricarlas. Denuncia la actitud de Hamás bloqueando la ayuda que pasa por el puesto fronterizo de Kerem Shalom aduciendo que ha pasado por manos judías.
También tiene duras palabras contra el Primer Ministro de Turquía al que culpa de negar el genocidio armenio y aún así se permite el lujo de denunciar como terrorismo de Estado la actuación israelí. Hay que apuntar aquí que ocho de los nueve muertos son turcos.
Finalmente justifica la negativa israelí a someter a una investigación internacional por el Consejo de Derechos Humanos de la ONU, argumentando que sería una farsa como ocurrió con el informe Goldstone.
Es imprescindible estar bien informado, y efectivamente, el artículo expresa con claridad la forma en la que se manipula la información. Sin embargo se echa de menos que el autor no haga justicia con los muertos y heridos, un coste siempre excesivo cuando están en juego vidas humanas.

He shalom port denounces Hamás is blocking the humanitarian aid coming from Kerem Shalom telling that humanitarian aid has been touched by jew hands.
He denounces the Prime Minister of Turkey, when Erdogan do not accept the armenian genocide but this politician says jews have done terrorism of State when they took the humanitarian ship. In the attack, eight from nine dead people were Turkish.
Finally Lévy understand Israel has said ‘no’ to Human Rights Council (from UN) to do an international investigation about the assault. They say ‘no’ because they had a bad experience with the Goldstone Report.
It is essential to be well informed, and really the article clearly explains the way the information is manipulated. Nevertheless the author does not make justice to dead an injured people, too high price when human beings lose their lives.
